Good decorating starts with good preparation.
The final coat is only part of the job. We take time to prepare surfaces properly: sanding ceilings, walls and woodwork, filling defects and making good untidy joints before applying the appropriate primers and finishes.
Our dustless sanding system helps minimise dust and disruption, while specialist lighting helps us spot imperfections that could otherwise show through the finished paintwork.
Whether we’re correcting new-build defects or refreshing an older home, the preparation is tailored to the condition of your surfaces.

I’m Liam, the decorator behind Decorology NE. With over 13 years in the trade, a Level 3 qualification in Painting and Decorating and full insurance, I bring practical experience and attention to detail to every project.
We take on one project at a time, giving your home our full attention throughout the work.

Planning your redecoration.
Do you decorate single rooms as well as full houses?
Yes. We work on individual rooms, hallways and staircases as well as full home redecorations. The preparation and finish receive the same care whatever the size of the project.
Can you help me choose the right paint finish?
Yes. We can discuss the appearance you want and how the room is used, then advise on suitable finishes for walls, ceilings and woodwork.
Does dustless sanding mean there will be no dust?
Dust extraction helps reduce airborne dust and keeps preparation tidier. Some dust is still possible, so we also protect the working area and clean as we go.
